1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the numbers
Bellmore and Nassau County are not interchangeable labels. Bellmore is a census-designated place, while Nassau County is the county relationship recorded for it. A firm may serve Bellmore residents, cover a wider Nassau County area, or use a broader New York service territory. Those choices affect how a dashboard should organize location data. The Bellmore population estimate provides context for the place; it does not establish search demand, competition, case volume, leads or revenue. A useful review should therefore ask whether location reporting can distinguish Bellmore from the wider county and from any other areas the firm serves. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the dashboard can show city data and source attribution, including the channel and page associated with a lead. Confirm in the consultation how those labels would apply to the firm’s actual service area.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic scope to the review: Bellmore, Nassau County, any other New York locations, and the areas the firm does not want treated as target markets. Ask Bosseo to explain which location fields are measured, how they are defined, and how location information is handled when a caller or form submission does not identify a place.
