1. Set the geographic boundary before you read a number
Baywood is a census-designated place in Suffolk County, New York. The ACS estimate describes the Baywood CDP population, not the number of prospective clients, matters or searches. That distinction matters when a dashboard displays city, county or state performance. A location label should not silently turn Baywood activity into Suffolk County activity, or treat a New York-wide ranking as evidence about Baywood. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text describes city and case-type data, live keyword rankings and source attribution. Before relying on those views, ask how your firm would define a Baywood service target and how it would separate that target from the surrounding geography.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geography list to the consultation: Baywood, Suffolk County, New York and any other areas your firm intentionally serves. Ask which geography belongs on each ranking, lead, call and matter view. Decide in advance whether a result should be attributed to the place where a person searched, the page they reached, the location discussed during intake or another documented field.
