1. Define the footprint before choosing page coverage
Bosseo’s public product page describes two broad footprint choices: statewide coverage or a narrower set of counties. For a firm serving Roswell, the precise relationship matters: Roswell is in Chaves County, New Mexico. That does not establish that the firm serves every community in Chaves County, nor does it establish that the firm should target all of New Mexico. The first product decision is therefore geographic scope. A Roswell-centered firm might review whether its actual intake area is the city, Chaves County, additional New Mexico counties, or a broader state footprint. The answer should come from the firm’s accepted matters, court coverage, consultations and professional obligations—not from the city’s population estimate.
Recommended approach
Bring a current service-area map to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to show how the selected counties and cities would translate into service-location combinations, and remove any combination the firm cannot responsibly serve.
