Make the Rio Rancho service area explicit in the intake decision
Rio Rancho’s recorded county relationships are Bernalillo County and Sandoval County. That geographic relationship matters when you decide how the intake should ask about location, venue, residence, incident location or service eligibility. It does not justify assuming that every visitor is in either county, that a particular matter belongs in a particular court, or that county residents have a particular legal need. A useful intake review starts with the actual geographic rule for each practice area. Some matters may depend on where an incident occurred; others may depend on where a person lives or whether the firm serves the matter at all.
Recommended approach
Map each practice area to the location facts that affect eligibility. Decide whether the flow should ask about city, county, incident location, court or another fact, and identify who reviews an answer that falls outside the firm’s scope.
