1. Set the geographic record before interpreting a lead
Your firm may serve Grants, the rest of Cibola County, other New Mexico communities, or a combination of areas. Grants city and Cibola County are not interchangeable, and neither is the same as New Mexico as a whole. The Census record identifies Grants as a municipality in Cibola County; it does not establish search demand, competition, case volume, language preference, or staffing requirements. Lead Attribution is therefore most useful when the firm decides which geographic fields matter in its own intake and outcome records. A journey can show the marketing path, but your team still needs a consistent way to determine whether an inquiry falls within your service area and whether the matter is appropriate to review.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic questions your intake team already needs answered: where the prospective client is located, where the matter arose, and whether the firm accepts the matter. Review those fields alongside channel and landing-page information rather than treating a Grants visit as proof of a qualified case.
