1. Map the geography before you map the workflow
Española is recorded as a municipality in New Mexico. The Census record places the city relationship across Rio Arriba County and Santa Fe County, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 10,473 and a margin of error of 48. That population figure is not evidence of search demand, case volume, staffing needs or language preference. It does, however, make geographic precision important when you review the inquiries your firm actually receives. A workflow should distinguish the service area you choose to describe from the place a person enters on a form, mentions on a call or selects during intake.
Recommended approach
Bring your current service-area rules to the consultation. Decide how the system should record Española, Rio Arriba County, Santa Fe County and other places your firm serves, without treating a city or county label as a qualification decision by itself.
