1. Define the Wanaque geography before you judge a result
A dashboard can be precise only when the geographic question is precise. Wanaque borough and Passaic County are not interchangeable reporting areas, and neither is the same as New Jersey as a whole. The Census record identifies Wanaque as a municipality in Passaic County and reports 11,206 residents for the 2020–2024 ACS five-year period. That does not tell you how many people search for a lawyer, which practice areas are relevant, or whether a ranking will produce a consultation. Ask how a location target is named, grouped and displayed. A Wanaque target may need to remain distinct from countywide or statewide targets so that a broad result does not obscure the local question.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the review. Ask to see how Wanaque, Passaic County and New Jersey would be separated in ranking, call, lead and attribution views. Decide which geography belongs in each partner-level question before accepting a combined total.
