1. Start with Union as a service boundary, not a demand forecast
The Census record identifies Union township and its relationship to Union County. It does not establish how many people search for a lawyer, which services they need, how difficult a result will be to earn or whether a page will produce an inquiry. That distinction matters when deciding whether to build only for Union, cover Union County, or consider a broader New Jersey footprint. Bosseo’s public product page says the same engine can be scoped to a whole state or only selected counties. The practical question is whether each location reflects a real service area and a legal service your firm is prepared to discuss.
Recommended approach
Use Union as one location in a documented coverage decision. Compare it with the rest of Union County and any other counties your firm actually serves. Do not use the township’s population as a substitute for keyword research, competitor review, intake history or conversion evidence.
