1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
A Toms River practice may describe its market by township, Ocean County, other New Jersey locations or a combination of service areas. Those are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Toms River township as a municipal town in Ocean County; it does not establish where prospective clients search, call or retain counsel. That distinction matters when a dashboard displays city, page or case-type information. Before reviewing performance, decide whether a location label means the caller’s stated location, the page that generated the contact, the intended service area or another agreed definition.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location information would be represented and which geographic questions the dashboard can answer. Keep Toms River and Ocean County separate in internal decisions unless your firm deliberately combines them. Do not treat the township population estimate as a forecast of cases or revenue.
