1. Separate North Bergen geography from marketing assumptions
Your service area may include North Bergen, other parts of Hudson County or a broader New Jersey market. Those are different geographic choices, and Lead Attribution should preserve the distinction. A North Bergen township visitor, a Hudson County resident searching from elsewhere and a person outside the county may follow different paths to your firm. The Census record establishes North Bergen’s municipal and county relationship, but it does not establish that any particular legal service is sought, that a person will call, or that one channel will outperform another.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing attribution, define which geographic fields matter to your firm: municipality, county, service area or another location recorded during intake. Ask to see whether the proposed view can distinguish the locations your team already uses, without treating population as a forecast. The consultation should focus on the questions your attorneys and intake staff need answered—not on assumptions about North Bergen residents.
