Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Manville and Somerset County are not interchangeable with every location in a firm’s service area. A firm may serve clients from Manville while also handling matters elsewhere in New Jersey, but the appropriate review and profile decisions depend on the firm’s real coverage. Population data can confirm the municipality and its county relationship; it cannot show where prospective clients search, which matters they need, or which firms they compare. Reputation work should therefore distinguish the firm’s primary office or service geography from surrounding communities and from statewide practice reach.
Recommended approach
Before changing the review process, list the locations the firm intentionally serves and identify which profile or directory represents each service area. Review whether Manville should be named in local messaging, whether Somerset County is the more accurate regional reference, and whether the firm needs separate decisions for a local practice and a statewide practice. Keep the public description accurate rather than expanding geographic claims simply because a place is nearby.
