Start with the geographic question your records can answer
Lyons is a CDP in Somerset County, New Jersey. The county relationship matters when you review how your firm defines service areas, landing pages, intake questions, and reporting. It does not establish that Lyons residents are searching for a particular practice, that a local page is producing inquiries, or that a specific channel is outperforming another. A useful attribution review should separate the location named by an inquiry from the source that brought the person to the firm. Those are different fields with different decisions attached to them.
Recommended approach
Ask whether your records can identify the person’s stated location, the service they asked about, the first or most recent relevant page, the referral path, and the outcome you use for budget decisions. If Lyons is one of several places your firm serves, decide whether geography should be reviewed by municipality, county, broader New Jersey coverage, or another firm-defined grouping. Do not treat the ACS population estimate as a forecast.
