1. Start with a geographic definition that your reports can keep
A Keansburg matter should not be confused with a Monmouth County matter, a New Jersey matter or a household count. The Census record identifies Keansburg borough as a municipality in Monmouth County and reports a population estimate of 9,719 for 2020–2024. That is useful for naming the geography in a measurement plan, but it cannot tell you how many people search for a lawyer or how many cases a firm may receive. Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels will be represented in tracked targets, lead records and matter reviews. If a caller serves several communities, decide whether Keansburg is recorded as the contact’s location, the office’s target, the page’s location or another defined field.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic vocabulary to the consultation: Keansburg, Monmouth County, New Jersey and any wider service area. Approve only labels that your team can apply the same way each time.
