1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Fair Haven borough is a municipality in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The 2020–2024 American Community Survey 5-year population estimate for the borough is 6,170, with a margin of error of 19. That figure describes the municipality; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, calls, cases or revenue. For dashboard design, the distinction matters. A Fair Haven view should not silently stand in for all of Monmouth County, and a county-level view should not be presented as borough performance. Ask which location labels, service areas and practice-area groupings will appear in the reporting. Also decide whether a call from outside Fair Haven belongs in a county view, a broader New Jersey view or a separate service-area segment.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the consultation: Fair Haven borough, Monmouth County, any additional New Jersey locations your firm intentionally serves, and the practice areas to measure in each. Ask Bosseo to show how those definitions would be represented rather than assuming one local label answers every question.
