1. Define what “ROI” means for a Chatham practice
The public ROI Dashboard description includes rankings, calls, leads, case types, forms and intakes, with leads and matters described as connectable to revenue. That does not remove the need to define the firm’s own terms. A Chatham firm may serve people in the township, elsewhere in Morris County, or across New Jersey. Those are different geographic scopes and should not be collapsed into one “local” label. The dashboard review should therefore distinguish Chatham township from Morris County and from statewide or metropolitan reporting. The Census population estimate is context for the municipality, not evidence that a particular practice area is active there.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location, practice area, contact classification and matter status would be represented. Agree in writing which events count as a lead, which count as a qualified opportunity and which count as a signed matter. Decide whether revenue is entered from firm records, mapped from another system or reviewed separately. Do not approve a report whose definitions change from month to month.
