1. Define the geography before you interpret a lead
Ashland is recorded as a census-designated place in Camden County, New Jersey. A report that says “Ashland” should not silently become a report about the whole county, the Philadelphia metropolitan area or New Jersey. Those are different geographic scopes. Your firm can decide which areas it serves, but the data should preserve the distinction between a person’s location, the page they visited and the area targeted by a campaign. Lead Attribution’s journey view includes the landing page, referrer, channel, device and session context. That makes geography a question to examine in the record, not a conclusion to draw from the place name alone.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Ashland-specific activity would be separated from Camden County or broader New Jersey activity, and decide which geographic labels your team needs when reviewing inquiries. Treat the Census population as eligibility context only; use actual lead and matter records to assess whether the service area is producing qualified inquiries.
