1. Start with Pembroke’s actual service boundary
Pembroke’s official geographic relationship is the town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. A law firm may serve people in Pembroke while also handling matters elsewhere in the county or state, but the town’s population estimate should not be treated as a forecast of inquiries. The first Intake Coach question is therefore operational: which calls belong in the firm’s intake process, regardless of whether the caller is in Pembroke or another part of the firm’s service area?
Recommended approach
Define the geographic and matter boundaries your team uses when deciding whether a call is an intake conversation. Review whether the caller’s location, court location, incident location, or another jurisdictional fact affects ownership or escalation. Keep those rules in the coaching criteria rather than assuming that every Pembroke caller follows the same path.
