1. Define the geographic question before reading the numbers
Nottingham town and Rockingham County are different geographic references. A report about Nottingham should not automatically be treated as a report about the whole county, New Hampshire or a metropolitan area. That distinction matters when you review landing pages, referrals and signed matters. A page associated with Nottingham may be one part of a wider service area, while an inquiry may come from elsewhere in the county or state. Lead Attribution’s stated role is to show the landing page, referrer, channel and journey for each lead. It does not turn the ACS population estimate into a demand forecast.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic labels your firm needs to review: Nottingham town, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, or another service boundary. During a consultation, ask how those labels would appear alongside the page and channel that produced an inquiry. Keep geographic reporting separate from assumptions about where future clients will come from.
