1. Start with the site you have, not an abstract hosting comparison
A hosting decision depends on the current website, domain, DNS, email records, content management system, third-party services and access permissions. Bosseo says it can migrate existing websites, including WordPress or otherwise, and describes a migration that covers files, databases, DNS, SSL and email records. Those statements describe Bosseo’s public service offering; they do not establish that your particular site can be moved without review. For a Meredith firm, the first question is whether the website serving clients in Belknap County has a documented owner, a current backup and a known path for changing DNS. If no one can answer those questions, the operational risk may matter more than a simple hosting price comparison.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the present host, domain registrar, DNS records, SSL status, email routing and administrative accounts. Request a written list of what would move, what would remain with another provider and what your firm must approve before a cutover.
