1. Start with the calls your team cannot reliably answer
Bosseo describes AI Answering as coverage for calls that would otherwise reach voicemail, including after-hours, weekends, holidays and overflow. Its public page says the team gets the first ring and the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. It also states that the system can handle up to 20 simultaneous calls. Those are product statements; they do not establish how many calls your Manchester office receives or how often callers abandon a voicemail.
Recommended approach
Review a representative period of your own call records by time, outcome and reason for non-answer. Separate closed-office calls from busy-line overflow and calls missed while staff were assisting another caller. Decide whether the 20-second handoff fits your existing phone process, then define which callers should reach a person immediately and which can enter structured intake.
