Use Hampton’s geography to define the intake review
The service area should be explicit before anyone evaluates a call. Hampton is in Rockingham County, while your firm may also serve clients elsewhere in New Hampshire or use a narrower practice-area boundary. A town population cannot tell you how many callers you receive or which matters are appropriate. It can, however, help you name the geographic question: which Hampton and Rockingham County inquiries should receive the same response path, and which should be escalated because of venue, deadline, jurisdiction or practice area?
Recommended approach
Bring a representative set of real intake conversations and identify the geographic facts your team must confirm. Review whether the caller’s location, incident location, court location or deadline changes qualification. Do not use the Hampton population estimate as a forecast. Use it only as context while you set the geographic scope of the review.
