1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Bosseo’s public programmatic SEO page describes two footprint choices: statewide coverage or coverage limited to counties selected by the firm. For an Omaha practice, the first question is whether your service area is Omaha alone, Omaha and other communities in Douglas County, or a broader Nebraska territory. Omaha’s recorded county relationship is Douglas County; that does not make every Nebraska city part of your market, and it does not show that every resident is a prospective legal client. Geographic scope should follow your intake capacity, licensure, court coverage, travel expectations, and business priorities.
Recommended approach
Bring a current service-area list to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to show how the selected footprint would translate into service-and-city pages, and identify locations that should be excluded because the firm does not serve them. Treat statewide coverage as a choice to assess, not an automatic recommendation. A tighter Douglas County footprint may be easier to review for accuracy and intake fit before you consider expanding elsewhere in Nebraska.
