1. Start with the geographic question your firm actually needs answered
A Holdrege firm may want to distinguish activity associated with Holdrege from activity associated with the wider Phelps County service area. Those are different geographic questions, and a city population figure cannot answer either one. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can include city data, rankings, calls, leads and case types. Before adopting the product, ask how geographic labels would be defined in your account, what a city field represents, and whether the available data is sufficient for the decisions you make. Do not treat a Holdrege label as proof that a matter came from a particular household, neighborhood or county location.
Recommended approach
Write down the geographic cuts that matter to your firm: Holdrege city, Phelps County, Nebraska, or another service area. During the consultation, ask which of those can be reviewed consistently and how ambiguous locations will be handled.
