1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The Census records Gering city as a municipality in Scotts Bluff County. The dashboard page also describes city and case-type views. That makes geographic definition an important first decision: are you evaluating Gering alone, the county, Nebraska more broadly, or several service areas? A city label, a county relationship and a statewide tracking scope are not interchangeable. Population is not a substitute for demand evidence, and the Gering estimate should not be treated as a forecast of calls or matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels will be defined in the dashboard. Write down whether a target refers to Gering, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska or another area, and decide whether the same geography must appear in rankings, lead attribution and case-type reporting. Do not approve a conclusion that combines city and county figures without identifying the difference.
