1. Start with Helena’s actual service area
Your firm may serve Helena, the rest of Lewis and Clark County, Montana, or a narrower set of communities and matter types. Those are different geographic choices. The Census record establishes Helena’s municipal and county relationship; it does not establish where callers come from or which cases your firm wants. Intake Coach should therefore be assessed against your stated service area and acceptance rules, not against population as a proxy for opportunity. Bring the geographic boundaries you actually use in advertising, consultations and conflicts review. Then examine whether an intake conversation captures location when that fact affects jurisdiction, venue, deadlines or attorney availability.
Recommended approach
Define the service area and matter categories that an intake conversation must distinguish. Ask whether coaching can identify missed geographic or eligibility questions in the calls you want reviewed. Keep Helena and Lewis and Clark County separate in internal decisions so a municipal audience is not treated as the same thing as a countywide audience.
