1. Define the geographic question before reading the dashboard
A location label can hide an important distinction. Helena Valley West Central is recorded as a CDP in Lewis and Clark County, not as a synonym for the county, the Helena metropolitan area, Montana, or every household and individual within those places. The dashboard page describes city and case-type views, while Bosseo’s public product text does not establish which geographic boundaries a particular firm’s account will use. That makes geographic definition an implementation question, not a conclusion to infer from the population estimate.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to document the exact geography attached to each tracked keyword, page, call classification and lead record. Decide whether the firm wants Helena Valley West Central tracked separately from broader Lewis and Clark County or Montana coverage. Keep those views distinct so a county-level result is not presented as a result for the CDP.
