1. Define the geographic record before judging performance
Washington is a municipality in Franklin County, Missouri. That distinction matters when you review attribution. A Washington city page, a Franklin County page and a broader Missouri page may represent different service areas, audiences and business decisions. The Census population estimate for Washington city should not be converted into an assumed number of searches, inquiries or cases. Instead, identify the geographic labels your firm actually uses in intake and matter records. If a prospective client serves a nearby community, your reporting should not silently classify that inquiry as a Washington lead merely because the person visited a Washington page. Attribution is most useful when the geographic record matches the firm’s own service definition.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location, service type and outcome would be reviewed for your firm. Decide whether Washington, Franklin County and Missouri belong in separate reporting views, and document how staff should classify an inquiry whose service location is unclear.
