1. Define the geographic question before reviewing the dashboard
University City city is recorded in St. Louis County. A firm may serve clients in University City, elsewhere in St. Louis County, or across Missouri, but those are different geographic scopes. The city’s ACS population estimate can help identify the municipality being discussed; it cannot show how many people need legal services or how many searches, calls or matters will result. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can include service-and-city keyword targets, city data and lead source information. That makes geographic definitions an important part of evaluation. You should decide whether a dashboard view needs to distinguish University City from St. Louis County and from broader Missouri coverage.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how geographic labels would be defined in your proposed reporting. Agree on whether a University City target means the municipality, a county-wide service area, or another scope chosen by your firm. Do not treat the population estimate as a forecast or target for marketing performance.
