Use University City geography to set the review boundary
Your firm may serve University City city, Missouri, as well as matters elsewhere in St. Louis County or the wider Missouri market. Those are different geographic questions. The Census record identifies University City as a municipality in St. Louis County, with a 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate of 34,685. It does not show how many people contact a law firm, which practice areas they need, or whether a caller is a viable matter. Intake Coach should therefore be assessed against the calls and service area your firm actually handles, not against population as a proxy for demand.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, define whether the review concerns University City callers only, all St. Louis County calls, or the firm’s broader Missouri intake. Ask how call records would be grouped by service area and case type, and decide whether geography is relevant to qualification, attorney assignment or follow-up.
