Set the service area before judging an intake call
Rolla city and Phelps County are related but different geographic references. A firm may serve people inside Rolla, elsewhere in Phelps County, or beyond the county. Intake Coach should therefore be evaluated against the firm’s actual service boundaries rather than against the city population alone. The Census record identifies Rolla as a municipality and records its relationship to Phelps County; it does not show how many people call a law office, what legal matters they have, or whether a particular practice area has unmet demand. Bosseo describes Intake Coach as a law-firm-specific product that reviews intake conversations and provides coaching tied to individual calls.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, write down the geographic questions your intake team must answer: Is the caller in Rolla, elsewhere in Phelps County, or outside the firm’s service area? Does location affect venue, eligibility, conflicts, or referral decisions? A useful review should distinguish those outcomes instead of treating every local call as equally qualified.
