Start with Richmond’s actual service geography
The Census record identifies Richmond city, Missouri, as a municipality in Ray County. It does not establish the firm’s market boundary. A Richmond practice may serve only the city, the county, nearby communities or a broader Missouri audience, but those are different geographic questions. Reputation work should therefore begin with the places the firm is permitted and prepared to serve, rather than treating the city population as a proxy for legal demand. Bosseo’s public product page centers its review engine on Google Business Profile and describes a process for requesting reviews from real clients. That makes geographic accuracy important: a review program should support the firm’s genuine service area without implying that every nearby person is a prospective client.
Recommended approach
Map the firm’s service area before implementation. Separate Richmond from Ray County and from any broader Missouri coverage in the profile, website and reporting. Review whether the firm wants to measure inquiries from the city, the county or another defined area. Do not use Richmond’s population estimate to set a lead target or predict review volume.
