1. Define what a lead means before comparing performance
Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says contacts can be classified as Potential New Client, Current Client or Other, and that leads can be tagged by case type. That distinction matters for a firm serving Pacific because the city’s recorded county relationships include both Franklin County and St. Louis County. A contact associated with Pacific is not automatically a potential new client, and a county label is not the same as a municipal service area. Your firm should decide whether geography is recorded by caller location, landing-page target, address, matter location or another agreed definition. The dashboard can be useful only when the label answers the question you are asking.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate the classification and geographic fields using definitions your firm approves. Require a written explanation of how ambiguous contacts, existing clients, vendors, spam and inquiries outside your intended service area are handled. Do not treat the Pacific population estimate as a forecast of contacts or cases.
