1. Match news coverage to the geography you actually serve
Bosseo’s public Legal News page describes monitoring local and national legal-news sources for a state and matching stories to a firm’s practice areas. Your service area still requires a decision. Overland city and St. Louis County are not interchangeable, and a Missouri-wide story may be relevant without being Overland-specific. A page about a state law change may deserve statewide framing; a local incident may require careful wording about what is known and what remains unconfirmed. The city’s 2020–2024 ACS estimate of 15,695 identifies the municipality, but it cannot tell you whether a topic has demand or whether a page will generate a consultation.
Recommended approach
Before booking, list the counties, municipalities, metropolitan areas, and state audiences your firm intentionally serves. Ask Bosseo how that geographic scope would affect story selection, page language, and review. Do not use the Overland population figure as a forecast.
