1. Start with the geographic question, not the population number
The Census record identifies Neosho as a municipality in Newton County, Missouri. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 13,224, with a margin of error of 25. That is a description of the city and its recorded population, not evidence that residents are searching for a particular legal topic. It also does not establish the size of the firm’s market, the number of competing firms, or the likelihood that a news page will produce a matter. A Legal News review should therefore define geographic scope explicitly. You may want coverage framed for Missouri, for Newton County, or for a broader service area your firm actually serves. Those are different editorial choices. A page about a statewide law change is not the same as a page about an incident in Neosho or Newton County.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic relevance would be handled for your practice. Keep the service area in the page brief accurate, and do not use the Neosho population estimate as a demand forecast.
