1. Define the geography before you interpret the dashboard
A location label can conceal different decisions. “Monett” may refer to the city, while a county reference covers a different geographic relationship. The Census record identifies Monett city, Missouri, as a municipality and records Barry County and Lawrence County relationships. Its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate is 9,873, with a margin of error of 29. That is useful for defining the place in a measurement brief, but it is not proof that residents are searching for legal services or that a particular practice area has demand there. A dashboard should not turn a population estimate into a marketing conclusion.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to document the exact geography attached to each tracked service-and-city target. Keep Monett city, Barry County, Lawrence County and any wider Missouri coverage distinct. Before reviewing a trend, decide whether the question concerns ranking visibility, a call from a place, a lead assigned to a case type or a signed matter. Those are different measurements and should not be blended.
