1. Define the geographic brief before reviewing story ideas
Your firm may serve Aurora, the rest of Lawrence County, Missouri more broadly, or clients whose matters arise outside the city. Those are different scopes. The Census identifies Aurora as a municipality and records its county relationship as Lawrence County. It does not show which legal topics residents search for or where a firm’s prospective clients come from. Start with a written service-area brief: Aurora, Lawrence County, named Missouri locations, or another scope the firm actually accepts. Then assess whether a proposed story genuinely helps people in that geography.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Legal News would distinguish an Aurora-specific event, a Lawrence County issue and a statewide Missouri development. Approve pages only when the geographic connection is accurate and useful to the people your firm intends to serve.
