1. Start with the geography you actually want to measure
Affton is recorded as a CDP in St. Louis County. That distinction matters when you review a dashboard. A firm may want to understand activity associated with Affton, activity across St. Louis County, or a broader Missouri or metropolitan service area. Those are different questions. A count attached to a county should not be presented as an Affton count, and a population estimate should not be treated as a forecast of calls or matters. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets, rankings, calls and leads. During evaluation, ask how the geographic label is assigned to each tracked target and each reported lead.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geography definition to the consultation. Decide whether Affton is a standalone target, part of a countywide plan, or one location within a wider service area. Ask to see how those choices would appear in filters, labels and exports before relying on the numbers.
