1. Start with the geographic definition behind each number
Petal city is recorded in Forrest County. That relationship matters when you review a city-level keyword, a countywide service area or a broader Mississippi campaign. A dashboard should not make those geographies interchangeable. A Petal ranking is not automatically a Forrest County result, and a county result is not automatically evidence about every household or individual in Petal. The same discipline applies to calls and matters: the location attached to a contact should be identified separately from the location targeted by a page or keyword. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can show rankings by service-and-city target, case-type data and city data. During a consultation, ask how your firm’s Petal and Forrest County scopes would be named and separated.
Recommended approach
Agree on geographic labels before interpreting performance. Ask to see which locations are tracked, which location is associated with each lead, and whether a metric represents Petal, Forrest County, Mississippi or another service area. Treat the Census population estimate as context and eligibility evidence, not as a forecast of cases or revenue.
