1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Bosseo’s public programmatic SEO page presents two geographic choices: statewide coverage or a footprint limited to selected counties. The Census identifies Meridian as a municipality in Lauderdale County. That relationship makes Lauderdale County a reasonable geography to review first, but it does not decide whether every city or service in the county belongs on the site. A firm may serve Meridian only, Meridian and nearby communities, or a wider Mississippi area. Those are different decisions and should not be collapsed into a generic “Meridian market.”
Recommended approach
Before discussing page volume, document the firm’s actual service boundary. Decide whether the initial review should cover Meridian, all of Lauderdale County, additional Mississippi counties, or the state. Keep city, county, metropolitan-area, household, and individual language separate in the final site. Treat the Census population figure as eligibility context only, not as proof that residents are searching for a lawyer.
