1. Define the geography before you interpret the numbers
A Laurel firm may discuss Laurel, Jones County, Mississippi or another service area, but those labels are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Laurel city as a municipality and records its county relationship as Jones County. That distinction matters when a dashboard groups rankings, calls or leads by city. A city-level keyword target should not automatically be treated as county-wide performance, and a county inquiry should not automatically be treated as a Laurel-city result. Population is context only; it cannot demonstrate legal need or marketing opportunity.
Recommended approach
During evaluation, ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels would be defined for your firm. Decide whether your reporting should separate Laurel from Jones County and whether Mississippi-wide visibility belongs in the same view or a separate one. Put those definitions in the acceptance criteria before interpreting a trend.
