1. Define the geographic coverage before setting a budget
The Census record identifies Jackson city and its recorded county relationships with Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County. Those are not interchangeable labels. A firm may want Jackson city coverage, county coverage, or a broader service area; the correct choice depends on where the firm accepts matters and how it describes its service territory. Population alone cannot tell you which area will produce qualified inquiries. Recommended approach
Bring a written list of accepted locations to the consultation. Separate Jackson city from each county or wider metropolitan area you want considered.
