1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Grenada as a municipality in Grenada County, Mississippi. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 12,375, with a margin of error of 21. That is location context, not evidence of legal demand, competition, search volume, leads, cases, or revenue. Your website should therefore distinguish Grenada city from Grenada County and from any other Mississippi location your firm serves. A page that says only “near you” leaves the geographic relationship unclear. A page that lists places the firm does not serve creates a different problem: it may make the firm harder for people and systems to understand accurately.
Recommended approach
Review every location statement, service-area page, title, heading, contact detail, and structured-data field for geographic accuracy. Decide whether Grenada is a primary office location, a service area, or one location among several before expanding coverage. Keep city, county, and state references separate, and do not use the Grenada population estimate as a marketing forecast.
