Use Greenville’s actual service area to define intake boundaries
The Census record identifies Greenville city and its relationship to Washington County. It does not establish that every caller lives in Greenville, that every Washington County resident is a prospective client, or that the firm should accept matters from the whole county. Those distinctions matter during intake. A caller may be inside the city, elsewhere in Washington County, somewhere else in Mississippi, or outside the firm’s service area. A useful review therefore asks whether the call handler confirms location early enough, records the relevant jurisdiction, and gives an appropriate next step when the firm cannot help.
Recommended approach
Review your current questions for city, county, court, incident location, and other jurisdictional facts relevant to your practice. Use Intake Coach to examine whether those questions are asked consistently and whether unclear jurisdiction is escalated instead of assumed.
