1. Define the geography before you read the numbers
The U.S. Census Bureau records Bay St. Louis city as a municipality in Hancock County. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 10,188, with a margin of error of 38. That fact identifies the place and its county relationship; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition or likely revenue. For a firm serving Bay St. Louis, the dashboard conversation should therefore begin with geographic definitions: which activity is attributed to Bay St. Louis, which is attributed to Hancock County more broadly, and whether other service areas are being considered separately. Without that distinction, a combined total can conceal where a call or matter originated.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how city, county and any wider service-area labels would be separated in the reporting view. Agree on naming before reviewing performance so a Bay St. Louis figure is not presented as a Hancock County figure, or as evidence about all of Mississippi.
