1. Set the geographic boundary before asking for reviews
Your firm may serve Victoria, all of Carver County, or a wider Minnesota market. Those are different operating choices. Victoria’s Census geography is the municipality itself, and its recorded county relationship is Carver County. Neither fact establishes where your clients live, where matters originate or which searches produce viable inquiries. A review program should therefore distinguish the client’s service relationship from the client’s address. A person who lives outside Victoria may still be a legitimate client of a firm serving Victoria; a Victoria resident may not be an appropriate contact for every practice area.
Recommended approach
Map the jurisdictions and practice areas you actually serve before selecting review-request audiences. In consultation with Bosseo, ask how the firm’s Google Business Profile, public responses and measurement will reflect that service area without implying that a Victoria population estimate predicts demand. Review the geographic labels used in profiles, landing pages and intake records together.
