Start with your actual unanswered-call pattern
Population cannot tell you how often prospective clients call, when they call or whether your staff can answer. For a Victoria firm, review your own phone records by day, time, line and disposition. Separate new inquiries from current-client calls and other traffic. Then identify whether the problem is an after-hours gap, a lunch or meeting gap, simultaneous calls, holiday coverage or inconsistent follow-up. Bosseo’s public AI Answering page describes coverage for nights, weekends, holidays and overflow, with the firm’s team receiving the first ring and the AI answering when nobody responds within 20 seconds.
Recommended approach
Bring a representative call record to a consultation and decide which unanswered calls should receive an AI response, which should route to a person and which should escalate immediately. Do not use Victoria’s population as a proxy for call volume.
