Start with the geography your website must serve
The U.S. Census Bureau records St. Cloud city as a municipality spanning relationships with Benton County, Sherburne County and Stearns County. Its 2020–2024 American Community Survey five-year population estimate is 70,629, with a margin of error of 45. That figure describes the city’s population; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, leads or revenue. For hosting, its useful implication is narrower: your firm should identify which locations and service pages are actually part of the site you need to keep available. A page for St. Cloud is not automatically a page for every county, city or service area.
Recommended approach
Bring a definitive list of the site’s current domains, important URLs and geographic pages to the review. Decide which pages are essential to preserve, which redirects must remain valid and whether county-level pages serve a real business purpose. Hosting scope should follow the site you operate, not an assumed market opportunity.
