1. Define the geography before you read the numbers
A local dashboard can become misleading when “Orono,” Hennepin County and a broader Minnesota service area are treated as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Orono city as a municipality in Hennepin County. It does not say that every resident is a prospective client or that the city’s population predicts legal inquiries. For your firm, the first review should identify which location dimensions matter: people who search from Orono, matters opened for clients in Orono, calls associated with Hennepin County, or a wider service territory. Those are different questions and should not share one unexplained label.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in the dashboard and how you would distinguish city, county and broader service-area views. Confirm what a “city” field means before using it to allocate budget or judge a practice area.
