1. Define the geography before reviewing performance
Minneapolis is recorded as a municipality in Hennepin County. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 427,246 residents, with a margin of error of 96. That figure is geographic context, not proof of legal demand, search volume, competition, leads, cases or revenue. The practical dashboard question is narrower: what geographic labels will your firm use when reviewing marketing activity? A Minneapolis target may need to be distinguished from Hennepin County, the wider metropolitan area or other Minnesota locations. Treating those areas as interchangeable can make a report difficult to interpret.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in rankings, lead records, source attribution and case-type views. Agree in advance whether Minneapolis and Hennepin County should be separate reporting dimensions. Do not approve a dashboard merely because it displays a city name; approve definitions that match the geography your firm actually serves.
