Put every inquiry in geographic context
Credit River’s official geographic relationship is to Scott County. A firm may serve the city, the county or a wider Minnesota market, but those are different reporting questions. Lead Attribution can help preserve the source journey for an inquiry; it cannot decide whether a matter belongs to Credit River, Scott County or another service area. That distinction matters when a landing page, referral or paid channel is reviewed later. The city’s population estimate is useful context for defining the municipality, not a forecast of inquiries or signed cases.
Recommended approach
Before using attribution reports for budget decisions, define the geographic labels your firm actually needs. Decide whether location should be recorded from the landing page, the prospective client’s stated location, the office’s service area or the matter record. Review how those labels will be used alongside channel and case type so a Credit River inquiry is not confused with a Scott County inquiry or a Minnesota-wide matter.
